Sellersville, PA: The global leader in functional safety, cybersecurity, and alarm management for the process industries, exida, has added two new certification programs for system integrators: IEC 62443-2-4 System Integrator Process Certification and IEC 62443-2-4 and 3-3 Integrated System Certification.
The certifications are based on the IEC 62443-2-4 and IEC 62443-3-3 standards, which represent the expertise of a large group of global experts to reduce cyber vulnerabilities by laying a solid foundation of cyber defense mechanisms for automation system networks and cover the specific requirements for developing and designing secure systems.
To further support cybersecurity for system integrators exida has also developed world-class training courses, reference material, and personnel competency certification.
exida has recently added CS 204 - IEC 62443 Cybersecurity for Integrators and Solution Providers to its Cybersecurity Practitioner program. The course focuses on the maturity model for modeling the quality of cybersecurity management systems and the interaction of integrators and owner/operators throughout the cybersecurity lifecycle.
CS 204 uses a combination of lectures and workshops to explain how to effectively address cybersecurity in the development and design of integrated systems. This course prepares candidates for the Cybersecurity Integration specialty of the IEC 62443 Certified Automation Cybersecurity Expert (CACE) exam for demonstrating personnel cybersecurity competency.
