Sellersville, PA: The global leader in functional safety, cybersecurity, and alarm management for the process industries, exida, has introduced an extensive CSP (Cybersecurity Practitioner) Program developed by top ICS cybersecurity experts, each with over 30 years of experience.
The CSP Program consists of various IEC 62443-based IACS (Industrial Automated Control System) cybersecurity courses presented by exida Academy. Participants who demonstrate that they have retained the knowledge presented earn a CSP Certificate. All participants that complete the program earn a Course Completion Certificate that entitles them to PDHs or CEUs.
The courses will also help participants considering Certified Automation Cybersecurity Specialist (CACS) or Certified Automation Cybersecurity Expert (CACE) certification evaluate their competency level by uncovering their strengths and weaknesses in the subject matter. “This certificate program is one of the best ways to show competency in cybersecurity for the various training courses,” said Ted Stewart, exida Program Development & Compliance Manager. “This program is also a key step in becoming a mentor or a leader in cybersecurity, especially after obtaining their CACE certification.”
“exida has been quite active in the development of IEC 62443 standards. We believe our knowledge should be shared. This program is one of our steps in this direction,” said Dr. William Goble, exida Managing Director.
