EXIDA RELEASES NEW VERSION OF PHAx™ PROCESS HAZARD ANALYSIS SOFTWARE

exida, a global supplier of functional and process safety products, services and certifications has released a new version of PHAx™, a tool that guides users through the Hazard and Operability study (HAZOP) process.
PHAx helps identify and document hazards, hazardous events and associated sequence of events. It also documents safeguards and recommendations, as well as important process safety information for the safeguard attributes.
“The hazard scenarios identified in PHAx form the basis of the safety lifecycle activities,” says Iwan van Beurden, exida’s director of product development. “PHAx is the first module within the new exSILentia® v4 suite of integrated safety lifecycle tools to support the entire process safety management work process.”
