exida Gulf Region Hiring Senior Functional Safety Consultant

Location: Gulf Coast Region preferably Houston
Description:
- CFSE or CFSP certified
- Understand the functional safety lifecycle and implementation of IEC 16508 and IEC 61511
- Ability to conduct SIL verification and/or SIF, SRS implementation
- Experience with using safety PLCs and/or SCADA or DCS systems
- Experience with PHA, HAZOP, LOPA techniques
- Oil and Gas and/or process safety experience
- Ability to write reports for clients
- Ability to lead client teams in executing process safety functions
- Ability to work in a team or on your own
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
- Legally able to work and reside in the US
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card
Optional Requirements:
PC Skills:
- PC literate
- Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Experience: 10 plus years in the Industrial Process Market, preferably Oil and Gas
