First Chinese CFSE/CFSP Course and Examination in China, Qingdao

exida Asia Pacific is proud to announce that they conducted the first IEC 61511: Functional Safety Analysis, Design, and Operation (FSE 100) course in Qingdao, China on 9-12 November 2015.
Dr. Felix Wang, Senior Safety Consultant, conducted the Chinese course to 15 participants from Qingdao Moses, PetroChina, Sinopec, China Chemical Safety Association and etc.
Throughout the course, topics on Safety Lifecycle, Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Assessment and Risk Analysis and Management were taught to the participants. Case studies and examples were also demonstrated in class to develop participants’ knowledge on practical skills, functional safety standards and capabilities. Participants also had in-depth discussions with Dr. Felix Wang on the IEC 61511 and IEC 61508 standards and concepts.
The first Chinese CFSE/CFSP examination was attempted by the same group of participants on 22 December 2015. The next Chinese FSE100 course and CFSE/CFSP examination will take place in Qingdao, China on April 2016.
