exida Global Staff Brushes Up on IACS Cybersecurity Solutions at Cyber Week 2018

April 16-20, 2018 was exida cyber week at our US headquarters. exida experts from all over the globe including Singapore, India, South Africa, and Mexico met to brush up on our current IACS cybersecurity solutions and enjoy some fun team building activities. They also completed exida Academy's CS 102 - Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Cybersecurity Lifecycle course and took the Cybersecurity Practitioner (CSP) exam afterwords.
exida academy's CS 102 course addresses integration of cybersecurity into the functional safety lifecycle. While cybersecurity introduced many unique activities that are specific to its technology, with respect to the industrial automation control system, including safety controls, alarms and interlocks, there is a synergistic efficiency to leveraging the functional safety lifecycle when implementing cybersecurity in the control world. Participants in this course will progress through the major phases of the Cybersecurity Lifecycle: Assessment, Design & Implementation, and Operation & Maintenance - identifying the necessary inputs and processes to achieve the required outputs for each phase.
