Failure Rate Analysis Paralysis
Recording Date: May 2022
Reliability engineers understand that many variables impact product failure rates. Some have even spent hundreds of hours to do an FMEDA on an electronic module. How does one know how far to go? How can an engineering process and a component reliability database be organized to get optimal results? This webinar explains a multi-layer iterative approach used by exida. Good, somewhat conservative, results are obtained in the first pass. Then, if justified, further analysis done on key variables is done to refine results. It is explained how FMEDA analysis can become quite practical.
